Artist Kerry Kazokas of the Freedom Art Gallery has moved from her studio in Shelburne Falls to live and work at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield MA. Kerry has decided that it is time for her friends and family to be able to purchase her artwork at a reasonable price. It is time for a new beginning, to clear out all of her remaining pieces of artwork including, black and white photographs, drawings and sketches, oil paintings, and sculpture pieces. Proceeds for the auction will go toward funding the Freedom Art Scholarship that Kerry offers at Pioneer Valley Regional High-school for Valley graduates interested in the Arts. Kazokas considers each of her pieces as a friend and a reflection of her spirit. There comes a time when one must let go of old relationships and bonds between old friends. |

| “I feel as though it is a season of change and metamorphosis in my
life as an artist, now I am focused upon teaching, and therefore my
artwork shall change as well. It is always difficult to let go of my
artwork, but I hope this auction will lead them to loving homes. Each piece created represents a passage of time and a way of being. I am unsure of what lay ahead for me, however, I know that cleaning house makes way for greater levels of creativity.” Currently, Kazokas is working on a book project about traveling around the world to 12 sacred places. This book is also being transformed into another screenplay, which will hopefully head into production over the next few years. Please come and join Kazokas on Saturday, October 27th from 4 - 9:30 pm. Bidding and live music begin at 4pm, and the bidding will close at 9:00pm. Three incredible musicians are lined up for the auction, the first is Adam Bergeron who will play from 4 – 5:30pm. Then long time friend, Joy Sumberg of Cambridge, MA will perform from 6 - 7:30pm.
